Grace D. Chong

About the Author:

Grace D. Chong has authored over 50 published books to date. She has won six Palanca awards and was finalist in the National Book Award and Catholic Mass Media Awards. Her book, Grace Found Me won in the inspirational category of the 2012 Gintong Aklat Awards. 

Grace is a lecturer at Southville International School Affiliated with Foreign Universities (SISFU), where she has been awarded Most Outstanding Faculty; and at Optimum TransSchool, Inc., a medical transcription training center. Grace is often invited to speak on her journey as a writer and to facilitate creative writing workshops here and abroad.

Before going into creative writing in the year 2000, Grace was executive vice president/creative director at a multinational advertising agency. She holds degrees in Speech and Drama (UP), Mass Communications (Columbia College, USA), and Fine Arts (Chicago Art Institute).  She and her husband, Tony, have three sons, a daughter-in-law, and a grandson. 

No Means No: How to Drug-proof Your Child is her seventh book with CSM. Her other CSM titles are BFF (for girls) and BRB (for boys) kid’s devotions for 10- to 12-year-olds, Zoom (for boys) and Shine!
