The Character Quest, Volume 1 is a series of lessons designed for first year high school students or grade 7 students. The volume opens with an introductory chapter on why the issue of character is important. Seventeen character traits are then presented to students based on a Biblical perspective. The final chapter of provides a review and summary. Each character trait is the topic of study for a week (or two) during which students engage in a variety of creative experiences including a study of Scripture, definitions, and descriptions. They will study the importance of the trait, the cautions regarding its negative counterpart and practical applications to everyday living.
