CSM Editorial Manager Daffodil Dedel won first place in the writing contest that Media Associates International (MAI) Asia held for Littworld 2022. Littworld is a global Christian publishing conference.

Her winning entry entitled My Eyes Are on You chronicles a heartwarming yet powerful story of how God came through for her and family when her mother endured a lingering illness that stretched them almost to breaking point.

Encouraged by the narrative of King Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20:12 when he and his people were threatened by powerful enemies, Ms. Dedel prayed to God while taking care of her mother: “I don’t know what to do, but my eyes are on You.”

When asked about what she hopes readers would feel after reading her entry, she says, “My hope is that they would be encouraged to keep their eyes on God whatever situation they are in. Especially in these difficult times.” To read Ms. Dedel’s winning entry, click this link.

Littworld 2022 will take place in Hungary this April 24-29, 2022 with the theme, Stronger Together: Publishing Hope Beyond Crisis. The top two winning entries of the MAI-Asia writing contest are awarded a full registration for Littworld 2022.
