Finances are an essential component of the church. Still, many believers have yet to learn to manage these funds effectively while practicing excellent and faithful stewardship.

With this, Church Strengthening Ministry, Inc., in partnership with His Life Ministries, will bring "The Good and Faithful Stewardship: A Workshop on Managing Church Finances'' to Bacolod City! The workshop will take place on October 7, 2023 (Saturday), from 1 PM to 7 PM at His Life Ministries Church, Sta Clara Drive, Bangga Subay, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. The workshop is open to church treasurers, auditors, finance officers, pastors, and anyone who wants to learn about managing church finances faithfully.

Ms. Maria Theresa Yambao, CPA, Director IV of the Commission on Audit (COA) and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary, will give her insights on managing church funds. There are multiple aspects to learn. Following the biblical mandate concerning church finances and management is necessary for Christians. There are also government rules related to church finances that we must consider. On top of that are other skills needed, such as planning, budgeting, basic accounting, and bookkeeping.
