The government’s decision to suspend face-to-face classes this academic school opening has led many families to consider homeschooling, which was the focus of the How to be a Teacher at Home webinar held last September 5, 2020 via Zoom. Speaker Grace Gaston-Dousel, a CSM author and also the President of Arrows and Quivers Homeschool in Davao City, led an engaging webinar to 37 participants who were mostly parents and guardians.

Topics covered by the three-hour afternoon talk were basics of homeschooling, elements of home education, lifelong learning principles, and what matters most when teaching children. Dousel has homeschooled her two teen kids, Lian Ed and Himig for the past ten years.

Arrows and Quivers vouchers for free Q and A webinars all-year round were also awarded to three winners who gave correct answers to quiz questions during the webinar.

CSM’s next webinar is for Sunday school teachers and children's ministry workers, entitled Online Sunday school workshop series: Creative Ways to Tell Bible Stories on September 26, 2020 from 9:00 to 11:30AM via Zoom.
