CSM Publishing held a timely and relevant webinar entitled “How to Effectively Study the Bible: Understanding the Books of the Prophets” last July 31, 2021. This webinar is a follow-up to CSM’s “How to Effectively Study the Bible” webinar last 2020.

A total of 114 participants from 66 churches attended and it was facilitated by Dr. Michael Janapin, who is an Old Testament professor and a Hebrew language expert. He is also PBTS’s Academic Dean.

The follow-up webinar covered the following topics: Nature of Biblical Prophecy, Function of Prophecy in Ancient Israel, Exegeting the Prophetic Oracles, and Applying the Message of the Prophets for Today.

One important part of the webinar was the demonstration, where Dr. Janapin taught the participants how to interpret the oracles of the prophets. Two notable texts were also discussed: Malachi 3:10 (which is about tithing) and Jeremiah 29:11 (which is about God’s plan).

CSM’s next webinar is entitled “The Obedient Church: A Primer on Compliances to Government Regulations” happening on August 28, 2021 from 8:30AM to 11:30AM via Zoom. The resource speaker will be Atty. Raymond Velasco, who is a corporate lawyer of Castillo Laman Tan Pantaleon and San Jose Law Firm.
